Whipping things into shape

At last I have a new sewing machine, one that should stand up to the rigours of extreme embroidery with a little more hutzpah than the last one. So with little more ado I present to you some more machine embroidery samples (all samples are about 16 or 17cm square):

Onto some whip stitch:

Some cable stitch:

And a bit more cable stitch:

Some patterns from the pythons:

I like the patterns that you came up with. Maybe you can make nice thermofax screens with them and add a little embroidery detail.

Just called by in my usual surf of the Distant Stitchers sites, I'm impressed with the snake patterns, lots of possibilities as to where it could lead. Are you enjoying the whipping machine stitches? I couldn't stop!
